Efficacy of three fungicides (Basten 50 SC , Rooty 72.2% SL and Ziram) were evaluated in vitro against three genera of plant pathogenic fungi : Alternaria sp. , Pythium sp. and Verticillium sp. by poisoned food teqnique at different concentrations i. e. (50, 100, 200, 300 and 400)% . Radial growth of mycelia was recorded after 3rd, 5th and 7th day of treatment. The fungicides efficiency was varied according to fungicide type, their concentration, fungi and incubation period. All the fungicides inhibited pathogenic fungi significantly as compared with controls. Basten fungicide had marked significant inhibitory effect against tested fungi as compared with Rooty and Ziram fungicides. Positive relationships between fungicide inhibitory and concentrations. Pythium sp. showed the highest sensitivity to fungicides represent by completely inhibited growth fungus (100% percent of inhibition), while Alternaria sp. was more resistant to fungicides, although presence of gradual decline in growth rate with increasing fungicides concentration to reach 18.33mm (67.14%) at 400% .Mycelial radial growth of Alternaria sp., Pythium sp. and Verticillium sp. proved differences in fungicides efficiency at different incubation periods (3rd , 5th and 7th days) which did not show a consistent pattern of growth under the effect of studied fungicides.

Spectrophotometric Determination of Trace Amounts of Nickel ion By Using Tetra(4-hydroxyphenyl) Porphyrin (THPP) and Tetra(4-bromo phenyl)Porphyrin (TBPP)

this work , the reaction of THPP and TBPP with nickel ion was studied Spectrophotometrically and kinetics as well as the thermodecomposition of NiTHPP complex with increasing the heating temperature as function of time was determined. The porphyrins were found to be a highly sensitive and selective reagents for direct Spectrophotometric determination of nickel ion at 0.031 µg/5ml for THPP and at 0.236 µg/10 ml level. The soret band of NiTHPP complex lies at 420 nm (€ = 2 x 105 L.M-1. cm-1), and at 414nm (€ =5.7 x 104 L.M-1. cm-1) for NiTBPP complex in DMF solvent. The complexes can be formed within 10 minutes by heating on hot plate (80 C◦). Four determination of standard solutions containing 0.946 µg/5ml Ni(ll) ion with THPP and 0.685 µg/10ml Ni(ll) ion with TBPP gave relative standard deviation RSD 0.074% and 0.065% respectively. Beer's Law is obeyed in the range of 0.01-2.55 µg/5ml and 0.01-2.34 µg/10ml , sandell's index were 0.00367 and 0.001 for the absorbance of 0.001 respectively. The mole ratio of complexes are 1:1, the interference of cations was studied as well. These ligands were used to determine nickel ion in phosphate crude stones sample and gave a satisfactory results.

This work study the different changes of blood disease with hepatitis B and compared with control group . Blood samples taken from One hundred with Hepatitis B , and compared with One hundred blood sample taken from healthy people to study :count total and differential white blood cells , Red blood cells count , Assess the concentration Hemoglobin , Packed Cells Volume , Erythrocytes Sedimentation Rate , Estimate number of platelets and the RBCs Indices . This work showed significant differences in WBCs differential as found high moral in the percentage of lymphocytes and a decrease in the proportion of cells Neutrophils and Monocytes and the proportion cells of the Basophisls nor Eosinophils . there was no significant differences in the total number of WBC between patients and control. Also recorded a significant rise in the value of ESR test. While no significant differences were recorded between the two groups of patients and control for the total number of red blood cells, platelets, concentration Hemoglobin and the PCV test, as well as indicators of red blood cells.

Thermodynamic Study on Reaction of Tetra Sulfona to Phenyl Porphyrin Iron (II) Complex With Different Nitrogenous Ligands

The binding characteristics of number of axial aliphatic amines ligands were studied with Fe(ll)TPPS4 complex in aqueous solutions at hiqh PHs > 12.5 . All formed low spin octahedral complexes . Electronic absorption , ΔH , ΔG , and ΔS of these complexes have been reported and Calculated . The Path way for the axial ligation on addition of ligand to Fe(ll)TPPS4 is shown in one step . Hill Plots used to obtain the formation constants ( KF) and ( n ) number of axial ligands bonded to the iron(ll) ion . It has been found low values of the KF for these ligands comparing to those recorded in organic solvents may be due to the polar solvent , and these values ( KF) more higher than that recorded for aromatic amine with the same complex and solvents due to steric effect of the size of porphyrin ring .

Field experiment was conducted in one of agricultural projects located in western of Anbar province, 60 km Al-Qaam city during winter of 2012 -2013 to study the Effect of leafy nutrition with Zinc, iron, and copper in different combination on some phenotypical, physiological, and productivity of Barely type Abaa 265 under axial sprinkling irrication system, and irrigated with underground water, in result of different combination, eight treatments were obtained included the control, analyzed with Randomized Complete blook Design (RCBD) with three replicate, After statistical analysis the results shows superiority of all leafy nutrition treatments in compared with control and the treatment (T8) showed significance superiority compared with control in all studying characteristics (T8) treatment was gave highest values in plant height 71 cm/ plant, branch number 495 branch/m2, , and leaf area 13.78 cm2/leaf this mean that increase level was 11.5%, 34%,and 29.8% respectively in comparison with control treatment. Also (T8) had superiority in chlorophyll content, level and the level was 32.23Spad/leaf, respectively, that mean the increasing level was 45.4%, respectively in comparison with control. The superiority of (T8) was clear over other treatments in length of Spike 4.713 cm/spike, weight of 1000 of seeds was 34.56 g. the area hold grains was 381.4 b/m2, the increasing level were 15%, 9.2% and 56.9%, respectively compared with control treatment.

Studies using spectrophotometric titrations on dilute solution of tetra (p-sulphonaphthyl) porphinato Iron (II) [ TNPS4 Fe (II) ] in the presence of a large excess of thiols and glycine ethyl ester at high (PH=12.8) are reported. evidence for high spin five coordinate Iron (II) and low spin six coordinate Iron (II) complexes were found . Thermodynamic parameters and stability constants were also recorded , refer to exothermic reaction with negative values of ∆H and ∆G for both ligands thiols and glycine ethyl ester . LogKF , Log KD and (n) number of bounded ligands were calculated , to be found for (n=1-1.3) for thiol ligand and (n=1.8-2.1) for glycine ethyl ester ligand , which were assigned to five and six coordinate to the Iron (II) atom , respectively. These results are discussed in relation to the high spin Iron (II) state in the catalytic cycle of cytochrome (p-450) and to the low spin Iron (II) haemochrome.

The effect of different temperature on vital characters of Aphidius matricariae ( Haliday )

The study showed that the temperature impact on some of the vital qualities of an intruder Aphidius matricariae when his breeding at different temperatures ,As the results of the study showed that the treatment of thermal 20 C outperformed morally and gave the highest number of mummies extent of 37-45 and an average of 42.33 ± 4.16 mummy.Followed by treatment of spam raising the temperature 30 C the number of mummies given the extent of 11-14 and an average 12.33 ± 1.52 mummy .While at breeding this Parasites thermal 10 C gave the least number of mummies and reached long- 1-3 and an average 2 ± 1 mummy . And an average of 18.88 in the recipetically .And that the temperature effect on the proportion of the eggs to hatch as thermal treatment 20C given higher proportion of hatching the extent of 74-90 and an average of 84.66 ± 9.23 hatch eggs Excelled morally so the rest of the transactions , followed by treatment of spam raising the thermal 30 C extent of 36-46 and an average of 40.66 ± 5.03 hatched egg , while recorded the treatment 10C lowest percentage for the eggs to hatch since given the extent of 10-30 and an average of 20 ± 10 and reached overall average of 48.44 egg recipe.

This study included (70) patient women with breast cancer whose age groups have ranged form (20) to (65) years and body mass index (32 – 20) kg/m2 for a period ranging from 1 month to 4 years. Also, it included (40) healthy women with traits compatible with those of the experimental group. The study has been carried out during the period extending from October, 2011 to November, 2012 in Ramadi Hospital. The present study has aimed at identifying the effect of some antioxidants such as Glutathion , Albumin and Antioxidants Trace elements (Cu , Zn ) and Fe in breast cancer infection in Anbar Governorate and comparing the level of these variables in patient women with the control group. Results have indicated a significant increase (P≤0.05) in Cu (84.9±27µg/dl) ( 106.5±38.1µg/dl) and Fe (96.6±38.1 µg/dl) (126.3±34.5 µg/dl), significant decrease (P≤0.05) in Albumin (4.21± 0.53g/dl( (3.7±0.67g/dl) , GSH (16.7+ 2.6 µmol/L) ) 4.47+ 0.89 µmol/L) and Zn )78 ± 24 µg/dl) (60 ± 24 µg/dl( in the blood serum of patient women in comparison with the control group.

heritability determining the degree of interdependence between the genomes of some serious diseases that infect humans, such as heart disease , Arteriosclerosis, diabetes and others . study showed that most of these diseases does not appear their symptoms on the people despite the presence of the genes responsible for these diseases, but when exposed to environmental stresses which is catalyst for the emergence of symptoms of the disease on people having the disease-causing genes.

Hydrogeomorphological Study for Shallow Groundwater Prospecting Within Solani Watershed in Haridwar District, Uttranchal. India

Hydrogeomorphological study has been carried out to demarcate shallow groundwater prospecting zones of the Solani watershed in Haridwar district, Uttranchal, India. An integrated geographic database, consisting of spatial and non spatial data, has been generated for the study area using remote sensing and geographical information system (GIS) technique coupled with ground truth investigations. The spatial database layers like hydrogeomorphology, land use/land cover, soil, slope and geology generated from topographic maps and satellite data while the non spatial data is derived primarily from ground checking during field survey and from the available literature. These data have been stored in the GIS databank for digitization, computational purpose and output generation to locate the availability of shallow groundwater in solani watershed for prospecting purposes. The result had been show that the southern part of solani watershed associated with hydrogeomorphological unit of lower piedmont (covering 367 km2) has very good to excellent categories of prospect zones while the shallow groundwater prospect zones is very poor in the northern part (hilly area) covering about 163km2of the study due to steeply slopes and very high drainage densities which are grouped together as runoff zone in the study area. In the middle part associated with upper piedmont zone, the category of prospecting shallow groundwater is good and covering about 96 km2 of the area with gentle slope and low drainage density. The present study shows that a spatial technique has been proved to be very efficient in delineation of groundwater prospect zone of the considered area.

The study aims at finding out some the affecting factors on the infection with the Helicobacter pylori . It also includes age since the highest rate was for age group (11-20 years). The factor of sex has also an effect because females showed a higher proportion of infection over males of 70% and 30 % respectively. The kind of food has relation to the development of the H.pylori with percentage 37%. Smoking has also relation to the infection of 26%. There was also a relationship between the infection and the place of residence because the percentage of infection in villages is higher than in towns of 60% and 40% respectively. The study also concentrates on some immune diseases associated with infection of the H.pylori. since there is a relationship between the infection H.pylori and diabetes of 40%.

The effect of some medical plants extracts on some physiological and biochemical parameters aspects in broiler.

The study carried out to investigate the effect of some medical plants extract on some blood physiological and biochemical parameters in broiler. One week age broiler chicken were divided into 6 groups (30 birds each),all groups was orally treated with( 1 ml/ Kg), the control group were orally treated with 1 ml of distal water. The 1 st group was orally treated of Peganum harmala extract with concentration 25 mg /ml‚ the 2nd group were orally treated of Datura innoxia extract with concentration 25mg /ml. the 3rd group were orally treated of Salicornia europaea with concentration 25mg /ml , the 4th group were orally treated of Cyperus rotundus extract with concentration 25mg /ml, the 5th group were orally treated of Matricaria chamomilia extract with concentration 25mg /ml The treatment continues for fourteen nine days period. The results showed a significant increase in serum total protein, globulin concentration in 1 st , 2nd, and 3rd groups compared with control, while all groups not a significant changes in serum albumin concentration . This was accompanied by a significant decrease in serum glucose , total cholesterol concentration in1 st, 2nd and 3rd groups and significant decrease in serum Triglycerides , VLDL-C concentration in1 st , 3rd , 4th , and 5th groups compared with control, while the treatments 2nd , 3rd , 4th , and 5th groups caused a significant increase in serum HDL-C concentration compared with control. While treatments in1 st, 2nd , and 5th groups showed a significant decrease in the serum LDL-C concentration The study concluded that‚ the extracts of this medical plants enhanced some physiological and biochemical parameters

Use Multiplex PCR For Detection of Some Virulence Genes of Klebsiella Isolated From Different Environmental loci

This study includes collected of 399 samples from different sources included clinical and non clinical samples. 293 clinical samples (urine, wounds, burns, stool, sputum). Non- clinical samples included 106 samples (water, soil) from November 2014 through February 2015. 51 samples were diagnosed as K. pneumoniae using phenotypic, biochemical and cultural diagnosis features and definitely diagnosed with API20E and vaitek test. Results of antibiotic resistance against different antibiotics showed that K. pneumoniae isolated from clinical and non- clinical samples varied in their resistance to these antibiotics and all isolates were sensitive 100% to Imipenem. A number of specific primers were designed to detect bacteria by using distinct gene and also to detects resistance to antibiotics using multiplex PCR technology for the presence or absence of 8 genes(magA, rmpA, htrA, Uge-1, gent-2,blaCTX, terA-1,StrA-2) that encodes for main virulence factors to diagnose K. pneumoniae. The result showed that that 45 isolates had rmpA which might be used as detection marker, in the same reaction of multiplex PCR detection of 4 genes related with resistance to different antibiotic groups(StrA,terA,blaCTX,gent-2) were done all K,pneumoniae contained StrA gene. According to this study we can concluded that multiplex PCR can use to distinguish isolated bacteria from different sources more correctly and also to determine its antibiotic resistance that are widely used in short time and little effort without need to routine testing.

Isolation and Identification of Acinetobacter baumanni from clinical samples and study sensitivity to antibiotics.

In this study, two hundred clinical samples have been chosen to isolate Acinetobacter baumanni from patients whose suffering from different infections, which included swabs from sputum, urine, wounds and burns. VITEK 2 COMPACT system has been used to diagnose percentage of bacteria in the samples and the highest rate was wounds infection, urinary tract infection and burns infection and the percentage 20%, 10% and 6.6% respectively. Moreover, antibiotics sensitivity have been taken place and used diffusion method, most of isolates were sensitive to Amikacin, Ciprofloxacin, Gentamicin, Cefixime, Cefotaxime, Ceftriaxone, Trimethoprim, Cefalexine, Amoxicillin, Rifampicin. The results showed resistance some A baumannii isolates of bacteria to antibiotics Amoxicillin, Cefixime, Trimethoprim, Rifampicin, cefalexine, Amikacin, Ciprofloxacin, Ceftriaxone, Cefotaxime, Gentamicin which included IAN1, IAN4, IAN5, IAN6, IAN 10 and 100% .

Water Quality of Euphrates River in Ammereate Al-Falujah City and Effect of the Anthropogenic Activities on It

The water quality of Euphrates River in Ammereate AlFalujah city was studied cities during December 2013 to March 2014. Water were samples collected from ten stations and analyzed for Temperature, Turbidity, Electrical conductivity (EC), pH, Total dissolved salts (TDS), Dissolved oxygen (DO), Calcium, Potassium, Sodium and Sulfate. The observed values of these physico-chemical parameters were compared with WHO standards. Some parameters (Turbidity, TDS, and Sulfate) exceeded the permissible limits of WHO standards, while other parameters were within the permissible limits. Statistical studies have been carried out by calculating correlation coefficients between different pairs of parameters. Temporal and spatial variations of physico-chemical parameters were investigated.

دراسة حرکیة التحلل الصوتی(Sonolysis) للمبید الفسفوری (chlorpyrifos)

During this research the degradation has been studied for the pesticide Chlorpyrifos (phosphorus pesticide) by ultrasonic technique (sonolysis) through the use of different amplitudes (100,50,25%) from amplitude generator ultrasound, for the periods of time (30,20,10,5) minute with the concentrations (40,30,20) ppm for pesticide Chlorpyrifos. It has been dealt with the degradation by measuring the changes in the electrical conductivity (EC) and (pH). The results showed that sonolysis of Chlorpyrifos increases with each the time and the amplitude of the ultrasound. The value of the electrical conductivity (EC) up to the highest value at the period of time 30 minutes and all amplitude, but it reaches its highest value at amplitude 100% with all the concentrations used, because of the liberation of different ions in the reaction mixture. The pH value decreases to the lowest value at the same condition, because the number of hydrogen atoms increases. The kinetic studies explained that the rate of decomposition by the ultrasound for pesticide Chlorpyrifos from the first order and all concentrations and amplitudes used and so draw the relationship between the (Ln (Ec/Ec0) and duration of exposure ultrasonic.
