The present study included the collection of 169 samples from various clinical and environmental sources for investigation of existence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in those sources, the clinical samples collected from some hospitals in Baghdad city and included 126 samples of wound, burns, cystic fibrosis, ear infections and urinary tract infections (35, 52,4, 22 and 13) samples respectively, while environmental samples were distributed by 25 samples from soil, and 18 samples from wastewater and some swamps. Samples were identified based on the morphological and microscopical characteristics of the colonies when they were culturing in a number of culture media as well as biochemical tests. The molecular detection was used to confirm diagnostic test for the isolates based on the 16SrRNA gene, as a detection gene, which has specific sequences for DNA of P.aeruginosa bacteria.The results of molecular detection showed that 51 isolates belong to target bacteria were distributed as 20 of burns, 9 isolates of wounds, 7 isolates of ear infection, 4 isolates of cystic fibrosis, 2 isolates of urinary tract infection, 5 isolates of soil and 4 isolates of water. The results of phenotypic detection of some virulence factors showed that 49 isolates with percent (95%) produced beta-hemolysis, while 46 isolates (90%) showed variance in the strength of pycocyanin production with a absorbance ranging from (0 to 0.52) at 690 nm, and 47 (92%) of isolates were producing protease enzyme, 44 (86%) of the isolates showed a differences in their ability to biofilm formation. As a result of the increased resistance of P.aeruginosa bacteria towards antibiotics, it is became a problem in the treatment of the infectious diseases caused by this bacteria therefore, the current study focused on the use of fresh garlic extract towards of some virulence factors because it being easy and commonly used. The results of the statistical analysis showed a significant difference when P-value (<0.05) in the production of some virulence factors, the isolates lost their ability to form biofilm, and decreased their ability to produce protease enzyme, and pyocyanin pigment, while did not affect the production of hemolycin.

P.aeruginosa bacteria are opportunistic pathogens capable of infection almost every tissue in the body as a result of possessing a large variety of virulence factors which significantly contribute to the pathogenicity of the host events. In the current study was to collect 119 samples from different clinical and environmental sources. to investigate the spread of bacteria P.aeruginosa and to study the virulence factors by a sample of 90 of those patients in several Hospitals in the city of Baghdad, including 33 samples of burns infections, 22 samples of wound infections, 17 samples of Otitis media infections, and 11 samples for urinary tract infections as well as 7 isolates belonging to patients with cystic fibrosis, The environmental samples included 10 samples of soil, 10 samples of water, and 9 samples of theaters. Diagnosed develop isolated after planted on different growth media through phenotypic traits and microscopic examinations and confirmed diagnosis using API 20E kit, as well as molecular diagnostics definitive diagnosis of isolates that give a positive result as bacteria P.aeruginosa during the previous tests were depending on the gene diagnosis 16SrDNA with a special bacterial sequence of P.aeruginosa. Diagnostic results showed that 61 isolated a 51% belonging for the type of P.aeruginosa of the total clinical and environmental samples that were divided on 15 isolates 24.6% of cases of burns infections, 13 isolates 21.4% of cases of wound infections, 10 isolates 16.3% of cases of Otitis media infections, 5 isolates 8.3% of cystic fibrosis, 4 isolates 6.5% of cases of urinary tract infections, 6 isolates 9.8% of soil, 4 isolates 6.5% of water, and 4 isolates 6.5% of the galleries operations. The results of the phenotypic detections of some virulence factors showed that 95% of the isolates were producing hemolysin enzyme type β –hemolysis, while it was 93.44% of the isolates producing protease enzyme and to varying degrees, and the percentage of isolates producing pyocyanin pigment was 73.13%. The prevalence of some virulence factors of P.aeruginosa was investigated in both clinical and environmental isolates by molecular genetic methods, included these genes each of the genes encoded of fatty proteins Opr I, Opr L. The results showed the existence of genes ( Opr I ) increased by 100%, while the gene Opr L ratio was 96.72% within the genetic structure of the isolates studied.

The study was conducted on students of primary schools for the people of the displaced provinces ( Anbar, Tikrit and Mawsil ) who are suffering in their housing overcrowding and low living standards and low level of health. This study depends on the analysis of recorder information in special document (questionnaire) prepared for this purpose and includes some demographic factors such as age , gender , socioeconomic level , occupation , head hairs long and education level of parents…..etc. The total number of samples was (2170) students, (371) student were infected, their ages were (6_14) year.The number of infected samples were registered by direct examination with the naked eye for the heads of the students, the number of lice instars were recorded by using magnifying hand lens and the lice instars were isolated from infected samples using special combs to remove lice from an infected hairs.The results of this study reveals highly significant differences in pediculosis prevalence between male, and female which was (19.41 , 80.59)% respectively. The results reveals also that high number of infections were in the ages (7, 6, 9) year which was (20.49 , 19.14 , 12.2)% respectively.It reveals also that there is highly significant differences between infected students and head hairs long, high infected cases recorded in long hair students compared with short hair students which was (55.53 , 44.47)% respectively.We also found that the family size has significant effect in pediculosis prevalence, high infections was in family size (9 and more person) compared with family size (3_5) person which was (44.47 , 13.21)% respectively.The study also showed presence of highly significant differences between pediculocides which are used in lice killing , Nyda and Kwell-p are more effective in killing ratio (80.43 , 75.96)%, while the lotion Tic-Tac revealed less killing ratio (38.46)%.And it is found that the factor (live with relatives) is the most important factor for the transmission and prevalence of pediculosis between students, the ratio of infection is (33.15)% compared another factors.
