The purpose of the study is to mix some medicinal plant powders with the food diet and to compare them with the Amberolium antibiotic and to study their effect as dietary aids in improving the hematological , serological, and productive characteristics of the broiler chickens (Rose 308).The four types of medicinal plants were added to the Rose308 broiler Rosemary ,peel of pomegranate, pine and willow plants, and treatment of amberolium was added to water at a concentration of 0.5 g / L. our research includes studies the following : complete blood pictures, biochemical blood parameters ,and all the results oversoften to SSD statistic programs.The results of the study showed that the cumulative performance characteristics of the period (1-42 days) showed significant differences (P< 0.05) For the treatment of control compared with other treatments. It was found that the best treatment in improving the performance characteristics when mixed with the diet and calculating the length of time of breeding period and the body's resistance to diseases and the percentage of losses is the treatment to which the pomegranate powder was added compared with the production characteristics of the other treatments and compared with the control , And the treatment was reduced from the loss rate. The efficiency of the pomegranate peel powder to the type of active ingredient may have been widely used in commercial medical treatments, and the blood parameters ratios of this treatment were closely correlated with the control ratios. As it had an active role in increasing the amount of( Hb , RBC and Platelate) and lower the levels of ESR compared with control and the rest of the other transactions, either serological factors which include: (Total serum protein, albumins, uric acid, creatinine)& (Lipid TC, TG, HDL).It was also found that giving some natural extracts of plants has led to a significant stability of the serological factors. (lipid TC, TG, HDL), and some natural extracts of plants have resulted in significant stability in the results, The final results of our study found that peel of pomegranate powder was the best treatment in terms of improvement of the performance traits and the indicators of the hemolytic , serological and ionic characteristics, while the lowest of the above indicators was in the powder of rosemary leave.

A haemagalutination test of blood group and RH factor were performed for all neonates and their mother lt has been found that blood groups of the baby and RH of the mother were significant(p<0.01),(p<0,05) respectively. A forma was designed to collect information including the age of the neonates(in hours) sex, weight Gestational(in week) type of feeding- BY comparing statistically the cases and control group we found the following-the lower weight was statistically significant in the prevalence and jaundice neonates(p<0,05) also it has role in the severity of the jaundice (p<0.01), prematurity was of statistically significant role (p<0.05) ,most of the jaundice neonates depends on breast feeding (p<0,05) and type of feeding has significant role in the severity of the jaundice (p<0.01). Thirty two isolates of coagulase negative staphylococci was isolated and identified from clinical sources ; including eight isolates (12.5%) of each of Staphylococcus hominis and Staphylococcus haemolyticus from (64) patients urine which suffering from urinary tract infection and eight isolates (16%) of each of Staphylococcus epidermidis and Staphylococcus auricularis from (50) ear patients which suffering from otitis in Rizgary teaching hospital in Erbil city were isolated depending on Vitek 2 compact system . The susceptibility tests by using disc diffusion agar method were determined for all isolated coagulase negative Staphylococci to 10 different antibiotics . From obtained results it was observed that all isolates were 100% sensitive to ceftriaxone and novobiocin, while higher resistance was obtained to tetracycline with percentage 50% and they showed differnt resistant to other remaining antibiotics. On the other hand, all isolated Staphylococcus hominis, Staphylococcus haemolyticus , Staphylococcus epidermidis and Staphylococcus auricularis isolates were tested for tetracycline resistant genes tetK and tetM by using PCR and the results showed that 75% of Staphylococcus hominis, Staphylococcus haemolyticus and Staphylococcus epidermidis were carried tetM gene with product size about 158 bp while 50% of Staphylococcus auricularis was carried the above mentioned gen . Also it was found that 50% of Staphylococcus hominis and Staphylococcus haemolyticus isolates in this study were harboring tetK gene with product size 360 bp and no tetK gene was observed in Staphylococcus epidermidis and Staphylococcus auricularis . Also the antibacterial effect of two local species of menthes against resistant isolated bacteria by using the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) method were studied . The results showed that the MIC for aqueous extract for both plants Mentha longifolia and Mentha piperita were 1600µg/ml and it were 1400µg/ml for alcoholic extract of both plants against most Staphylococcus speciese except Staphylococcus epidermidis which the MIC was 1200 µg/ml for aqueous and 1000µg/ml for alcoholic extract of Mentha piperita, while it was 1200µg/ml for both the aqueous and alcoholic extracts for Mentha longifolia.

The study aimed to determine the statistical distribution of blood group, beside the studying of genotypic frequencies and allelic frequencies in various samples. Three hunderds and eighteen individuals are used as sample representative of patients with Chronic Diseases, 142 patients with Hypertension, 176 patients with Diabetes Mellitus. The results revealed that O blood group higher followed by B then A and finally AB blood group. The results also showed overcome the positive pattern of Rh+ in comparison with the negative pattern of Rh- in all samples. Allelic frequencies calculation of blood groups for these systems were showed the highest frequency was allele i followed by allele IB and allele IA for the ABO system in the three samples, And the allele dominant D showed common on the recessive allele d in all the samples studied.There is strong evidence to suggest that there is an association between ABO blood groups and certain diseases, Therefore this study investigated the possible association of Type 2 Diabetes mellitus and Hypertension with ABO type. The data were derived from 318 patient included 142 subjects hypertension, And 167 subjects had diabetes mellitus attending health centers and laboratories in Baghdad. The statistical analysis showed that there is a high significance differences and that the blood groups as possible to be an early indicator to have Hypertension and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. And blood groups were compared to determined the relationship of each group with the disease, Statistical analysis showed that the O blood group have a greater risk with the disease when compared with the other groups. There is a possibility equal to the injury of the disease in people with two blood groups A and B, While the AB blood group have little chance when compared with the rest of groups, This is in the case of Hypertension. As in the case of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, The statistical analysis showed that there is a possibility equal to the injury of the disease in people with two O and B blood groups, Followed by people with A blood group, And the likelihood of injury in people with blood group AB was the least comparing to the other group

The current study included understanding the effect of methotrexate and omega-3 in the thyroid and parathyroid gland and some of the physiological and histological and genetic variables in some of the organs of the body in the male rats. The study included 56 animals were divided into three groups, the first and second groups were divided into three secondary groups, the first secondary group was given the drug methotrexate only in concentration 0.05 , 0.125 and 0.250 mg / kg for 8 weeks while the secondary second group was given drug methotrexate in the same concentrations of the first group, as well as give it omega-3 concentration of 300 mg / kg for 8 weeks, the third group was considered as control group. After finishing of dosage, the animals killed and took blood samples and organs to do the required tests, included measuring of blood parameters, such as RBC ,PCV ,Hb ,MCV, MCH and MCHC. In addition to measure the number of white blood cell count WBC and Differential white blood cells, where the results showed the presence of a rise in both the RBC, PCV, Hb in the low and medium concentration of methotrexate while decreased in high concentration, omega-3 work to reduce the variables above in the low and medium concentration while worked on reducing it in the high concentration, moreover a variable of MCV and MCH and MCHC has not changed morally. With respect to the WBC was low in the totals for the study when giving methotrexate while rose when giving omega-3 with this druge, also neutrophil cells was low and accompanied by a rise in a monoytes in all concentrations of Methotrexate were not for omega 3 noticeable effect on these cells decreased. The results showed a decline in the lymph and acidophilus cells in the low concentration while rose in the medium and high concentration of Methotrexate. Omega-3 worked on the rise it in concentrations above, with respect to basophiles cells increased in the low and high concentration and decreased in medium and the omega-3 was not effect of them.

Read More ... The study was conducted to evaluate the inhibition activity of Trichoderma harzianum and Aspergillus wenti and Salicylic acid (0.01 %) solution against Tomato Mosaic Virus (ToMV). The possibility of the use of fungal filtrates in stimulate resistance in tomato plants against virus infection have been studied for this purpose Datura stramonium leaves have been inoculated with mixture composed fungal filtrates and Tomato Mosaic Virus ( ToMV) .The results showed that the the number of lesion for the T. harzianum filtrate decrease with increasing the age of filtrate from one day to six day, The six filtrate gave lowest of lesion number, 2.971 lession/ cm2 compared with anathor period and control treatments which gave 10.085 lession / cm2 for water and 9.982 lession/ cm2 for potato media with significant differences compared with salicylic acid . The sex day filtrates for T. harzianum gave the grate effect on inhibition of virus replication, and also for A.wenti filtrate treatment which reduce the number of lesion with increasing the age of fungi filtrate beginning from first day to sex day and gave 4.580 lession/ cm2 with the significant differences compared with the controle treatment ( water and potato media).The concentration 50% from both fungi ( T. harzianum and A. wenti)gave the grate effect in inhibition of lesion number and inhibitor of Tomato mosaic virus replication comparing with the other concentrations and control treatment. The crud filtrate for T.harzianum with concentration 50% gave the highiest inhibition rate 61.712% ( local lesion 3.795 lession/ cm2 ) then A. wenti filtrate with inhibition rate 57.871 % (No of local lesion 4.014 lession / cm2 ).The resalts also showed that the resistance induced by spreading tomato plants with the filtrate of T. harzianum , A. wenti and salicylic acid, the T. harzianum have the highiest effect in virus inhibition with increasing the number of spreading untile 8 with the inhibition rate 45 % while A. wenti fungi gave inhibition rate 43.072%. Soacking steams of Tomato leaves with T. harzianum filtrate after inoculated with virus for one day led to inhibition the virus replication in leaves , with inhibition rate 65.782% (No. of local lesion 2.373 lession/ cm2 ) while gave 52.357 for A. wenti fungi filtrate ( local lesion No. 3.304 lession/ cm2 ).

The laboratory tests was conducted and included: The tests biochemical estimate the total protein and appreciation of urea and creatine and assess the effectiveness of enzymes (AST, ALT, ALP) and estimate bilirubin total in serum and measuring the level of the enzyme carrier Glutamayl(GGT) and assess the concentration of electrolytes(sodium, potassium and calcium) and concentration of heavy metals(lead, zinc and copper) in the blood and assess the concentration of hormones, thyroid (T3, T4) in the blood and the concentration of the hormone by the pituitary gland and the catalyst for thyroid hormones (TSH) The results of the study showed the following: The results showed a significant effect at the level of probability (P≤0.05) in the values of each of the concentration of the enzyme carrier Klotamayl (GGT) and the concentration of electrolytes (sodium, potassium and calcium) and the concentration of heavy metals (lead, zinc and copper) in the blood as well as in the values of thyroid hormone (T3). Did not show significant differences between the values of each of urea and creatine and alkaline phosphatase enzyme and enzymes (AST, ALT) and bilirubin values and total protein concentration and the values of hormonal (T4, TSH) in the blood serum of workers and the control group. The changes immune has shown the results of the study on the existence of significant differences in the values of the effectiveness of the enzyme immune (ADA) and the level of the enzyme immunoglobulin (IgG) while it did not show significant differences in the values of proteins complementary immune (C3, C4) and the values of enzymes immunoglobulins (IgA, IgM) between blood Employees and blood control.
